6. 30 Days of Night

Back in 2007, 30 Days of Night was one of the best vampire films around. Now nine years later, this Alaskan horror still stands up as one of the best.

Starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George, 30 Days of Night is set in the remote town of Barrow, Alaska, where at a particular time of year, it goes dark for 30 days. Unfortunately, that’s much more appealing to bloodthirsty vampires than it is to tourists and locals.
